Financial ManagementExcellent financial management is the key to successful association management. The Sherwood Group has CPAs, accountants and bookkeepers who provide world class, full service, in-house accounting and financial services to our not-for-profit organizations, including nine 501(c)(3) and six 501(c)(6) organizations. Our internal controls and procedures are consistently rated highly by our independent CPA firm. Sherwood provides its clients with monthly financial statements, which includes: journal entries, bank account reconciliation, reconciliation of all other asset and liability accounts, investment oversight and accounting for restricted funds. The Sherwood Group does not commingle client funds and all checks require two signatures. Services include:
